The EU is also the largest trade block globally and, therefore, the world’s biggest exporter of manufactured goods and services and the biggest import market for over 100 countries.
Globally the EU works, through humanitarian aid, to help victims of man-made and natural disasters worldwide, supporting millions of people around the globe annually. It also plays a significant part in international diplomacy and works to foster stability, security and prosperity, democracy, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law at the international level.
