Timber Grading and Sawmill Training – FLEGT Secretariat, EU, DAI Global, FTCI
The FLEGT Secretariat, in partnership with the Forestry Training Centre Inc. (FTCI), hosted an EU-funded Timber Grading and Sawmill Training, supported by DAI Global. The three-day training was led by Quacy Bremner, Manager of FTCI, with Andrew Mendes, Managing Director of Farfan & Mendes, facilitating the final session at Barama Company Limited. Approximately 18 participants attended, gaining hands-on experience in timber grading and sawmilling to improve compliance within the forestry sector.
