Forest Officers Workshop on Legal Framework and Compliance Requirements in the Guyana Forestry Sector

Officers benefited from an improved understanding of the legal framework for sustainable forestry, discussed best practices for compliance requirements by Forest Sector Operators and contributed to improved systems for compliance. The workshop was organised and supported by the GFC, the European Forest Institute Technical Assistance Project (EFITAP), the Governance Facilitator and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, acting through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
